Connectors that fit the 2x2 are impossible to find. Trust me, I've
tried.

One way is to build the interface with a 16-pin connector, then buy the
VAS-5051/2 adapter from VW. This will go between your 16-pin connector
and the 2x2 interface in your car. For more details, see

Or just find some other way to make the connection.

Refer to the picture on the bottom of that page..

Gray or Blue is K
Yellow is L
Red is +12
Black or Brown is GND
