What is the make, model, and year of your car?
Some newer cars do not need or use the L-line, but I have never seen one
with the "2x2" data link that didn't have it. There are some older
cars like G60's that have the same connectors with only 3 wires, but
they are missing "K", not "L"...(and they don't work with VAG-COM)
The VAG-1551 supports two modes of communication: "Blink-Code" and
"Rapid Data Transfer". VAG-COM and similar products only support "Rapid
Data Transfer".
