VAG-Check - for Pocket PC Audi A8 3.7 1997

I found a reference to VAG-check programme on here (posted a few
months back) but no follow ups. Can anyone enlighten me on what
looks like a good product. It appeared to be a fully functional
prog. but on closer inspection there are some aspects which need a
password issued by supplier. No mention of money is involved and
the site links to here (www.arlabs.com) I can make it work after a
bit of messing about with some of the options and null-modem
connectors but one matter which confuses me is that it appears to
make the instruments group 23 whereas my Bentley manual states 17?
other groups apper to work. I cannot get the adaption working in
instruments but I am still getting to grips with it.

I am off to file a report to the supplier in the hope I get some
response.
