Who? In the U.S. you've got me and Baum Tools. In South Africa there's
the guy who put up the vwinfo page. There are some people in Germany as
well, but they're all trying to make a living (or under NDA).

Well, let's see, there's my VAG-COM package, there's VWTool/VDS-PRO, and
there's the Posicon package (from Germany, see
http://www.diagnose-system.de). That doesn't strike me as "plenty".

To be totally honest, I joined to keep tabs on what (if any) progress
the "free/open-source" movement is making with this.
I would be willing to TRADE info if anyone had anything useful, but at
this point, that doesn't seem to be the case...
