Alan,

There is a schematic for a BMW ECU Bosch type M1.3 out on the net
somewhere. If I can find the link, I will post it.

Link for general Bosch info is:

http://www.vectorbd.com/peugeot/bosch.html

and select M1.3 Schematic under Motronic Fuel Injection / Ignition
heading.

I have been doing a bit of research on the bosch series ECU in
Citroens with part numbers which start with 0 260 20x xxx. It seems
the earlier of these use the Siemens 80C515 with on-board ROM plus a
supplementary EPROM while the later ones use an 80C535 with flash
EEPROM to hold all the code. These chips are enhanced version but are
instruction set compatible with the Intel 8052 microcontroller. So
far so good.

Getting more information is more difficult as the code, data and
communications protocol for these seems to be locked away pretty
tightly. Good Luck.
