Thanks so much, but when I go to the BMW dealer to diagnose the Airbag theyconnect the scanner to the standard round connector in the engine bay.

After reading some post and searching around, maybe this is interesting for
that problem, it seems that airbag sometimes have a second connector and can
t be accessed through the round diagnose connector. Read this: http://luuk
xs4all.nl/bmwboeken/carsoftbmw/cs1000_bmw.pdf
I don't know the page anymore, but they discribe a second connector for
accessing the airbag module and how to connect to it.
Hope this helped you, I'm going to test the software project in the near
future, but didn't had the time yet to built the interface. (24 hours in a
day doesn't seems to be enough if you're involved with cars)

Regards

Frank

Hi Harold:

The problem I have is that following the DS2 protocol, the AirBag ECU doesn
t respond. My car is a 1997 328i. Please test and let me know results.
Attached you will find my software.
