I continue asking myself why nobody write a code line in any programming language to share with. Do something to keep OPENDIAG alive. Stop asking, begin something

hi
Renault is not j1979 compliant and it uses the PIDs 0xA0 to 0xF0.
it uses the testerpresent message to keep alive.

Subject: [opendiag] Renault Laguna II & KWP2000 - J1979 mode responses
Hello !
I'm still fighting with Renault Laguna II 2.2dCi through KWP2000
and found some interesting things:
(Mode $01)
Asking for PID 0 results in response containing five zeroes so any
other PID of $01 is not supported at all.
(Mode $02)
I ask C3 33 F1 02 00 00 and I get 87 F1 7A 42 00 00 58 38 00 00 -
strange... If I ask C2 33 F1 02 00 to get supported PIDs I get
negative response: 83 F1 7A 7F 02 12 (subFunctionNotSupported-
invalidFormat).
(Mode $03)
I ask C1 33 F1 03 and I get 84 F1 7A 43 00 00 00 - strange, three
byte response to mode $03 ?? AFAIK there should be six data bytes...
(Mode $04)
This mode works well.
(Mode $05)
This mode doesn't work at all (serviceNotSupported)
(Mode $06)
I ask C2 33 F1 06 00 and I get 87 F1 7A 46 00 FF 00 00 00 00. I have
no idea what the data mean...
(Mode $07 and up)
This mode doesn't work at all (serviceNotSupported).
Does anybody any comments or suggestions to the data above ?
Best regards,
Sebcio
