service 9 is same as service 1.
request first the supported info_types with

$68,$6a,$F1,$09,$00,CS

even if the info_type is supported ( corresponding bit position is 1 ) you get a response. if it is 0. also no info available in ECU.
it needs keep alive every 4 sec. and no response time out is 60 sec. after our tests the response can come in l 6 sec.
the valid info_types are 2 ... 6

I have built a stand-alone scanner, which works great. I can read
values, read DTCs, clear DTCs etc but one request won't work...

When I send a mode $09 PID $02 (Read VIN) I get no reply at all.
The values I'm sending (after connecting to 0x33) are :-

$68,$6a,$F1,$09,$02,$ce
But I get no reply.

However if I send
$68,$6a,$F1,$01,$0d,$d1 - get vehcile speed, this works fine.

Any ideas anyone?
