İ believe it is not a problem on k-line but a problem on power supply
that disturbe your AVR. Because i spike on K-line dont must disturbe
your communication.

Use two hex invertors on K Line to cut of the peacks and make signal to
be good.
Or try just with one coupled condezator to ground(first try with 100pF)
or you can also use one BAT49 diode between
ground and K line diode plus on K line.
