Hi Ezequiel,

Whow, much of artilery for building it on Protoboard...

>This produces noise
No, it doesn't !!!
K-Line is noise-free, or has a same level of noise at idle and at any random RPM.
Why is that so ? Simply because the factory did all the work with K-Line noise-filtering and disturbance.
Offcourse, the whole story ends at diagnose-connector, but if You don't have noise at connector, how
should there be so much noise at your scanner ???

Yes, but engine on and off is quite a difference in CPU-usage...
K-Line has the lowest priority, therefore You get a proper answer with proper timing only if CPU has enough
time between other tasks with higher priority.

How does Your led know what is a byte and what is a bit ?

> that the ECU sends a byte 3 times
If You communicate with VASS using KWP1281, You must send complement of any received byte back to ECU -
- did You, and if yes, what byte ?

>with a large delay before disconecting.
How do You know when ( exactly ) You are disconnected ?

Yes, send function 0x08, channel 0x01.

>P.D.: If anybody is interesting in sharing info, and schematics,
>please send me an e-mail.
I thought, that should be done in this group, not privately...

bye,
Bole
