Diagnostic protocol in Renault 19 (K-Line interface?)??

Hi!

Does anybody know what protocol is used in my Renault 19 Phase 2
(build 1995)?? I heard, that the diag pin in the diagnostic connector
is compatible to the K-Line interface. Is this true? Did someone
manage to connect to the ECU successfully? Is software available yet?
All informations are welcome...
