The opto-isolater version will not work with the newer
versions of VAG-COM, only 3.112 or earlier. The dual
K-line interface has 2 K-lines (as you might have
guessed) and works with some of the newer vehicles. I
am not certain whether the generic dual K-line
interfaces will work with the newer VAG-COM software.
I have not had the inclination to open up my
HEX-COM+CAN as $350 is a bit pricey to muck around with.
