Being an occasional contributor but mostly a lurker, I must say how
refreshing it is to see some useful traffic on this list.

I whole-heartedly agree with comments that there are a lot of people lurking
that just want free software and that's it.

My interest is that I have authored FreeScan that can communicate at 8192
baud to selected GM ECUs but I would like to set up a selectable ODB-II
compliant protocol in it.

I have two problems with this:

1) No OBD-II Interface.
2) I don't directly own an ODB-II compliant car!

My plan was to code an OBD-II module in FreeScan once I saw what I had to
do. Unfortunately, it has only been in the last couple of days that this has
happened.

I am willing to contribute with visual C++ code but, as you are aware,
testing it without an interface will be extremely difficult!
