I have been sniffing around on my 2002 VW Beetle ABS using Jeff
interface along with VB6.

Here are the result.

Tx: 84 28 F1 18 02 FF 00 B6

84 28 F1 = HEADERS
18 02 FF 00 = UNKNOWN

18 - readDTCbyStatus

02 - statusOfDTCRequest (02 - requestStoredDTCAndStatus)

FF 00 - groupOfDTC

B6 = CHECKSUM

bit 7 - '0' = validated fault has not been present during this
driving cycle

bit 6 - '1' = validated fault present at time of request.

Bit 5 - '1' = DTC validated and stored in non volatile
memory.

Bit 4- '0' = test has been completed

Bit 3 - '0' = test is not inhibited by other DTC

Bit 2 - '0' = test is not running

Bit 1 - '0' = pending fault has not been present during this
driving cycle

Bit 0 - '0' = pending fault is not present

6C = UNKNOWN
01 22 = CODE 00290
6C = UNKNOWN
01 1D = CODE 00285

If someone can explained what those UNKNOWN Bytes mean.
