Hi,
I also own a Japanese domestic model 2000year Roadster.
All NA/NB Roadster(only JDM) diagnostic system is not OBD-II but OBD-I.
It is Mazda original protocol.
You will can find diagnostic connector on the exhaust side in the engine
room
and it will be not OBD-II common shape.
