I have the same dti zafira as you and i have read the codes using a max232 interface and kwptest. You have to set the kwptest to phsical addressing and use 11 as the ecu address use fast init. It will connect and then you click diagnose and the number of DTC and the codes will be returned. Also i used an old laptop running win98, it don't work using a new Pentium M win xp laptop. My fault was a open circuit glow plug by the way. you can measure them with a meter very easy.
