- KWP2000+ software is more updated, support more models (and works at first try)
- KWP2000+ have inside atmel mcu, so is looking you have a kwp2000+

perhaps you didn´t get the correct kwp2000+ or your interface is not working ok,
btw, be carefull with kwp2000/+ releases on emule, most of them have fake dll which damages interface
erasing ftdi eeprom
