My thanks to Jeff Noxon and Ross Uwe

I recently stumbled across Jeff's interface and Ross's software. I
built the interface (breadboard style) and tried it last week and
everything works great (I was a bit paranoid about plugging it in...
thought I might have missed something and fried my car).

My only regret is that I didn't have this sooner. I bought an A6
2000 flood car and had to bring it to the dealer for the diagnostics
and recoding. I basically did everything else myself. Unfortunately
the dealer was floundering with the car. They are great for finding
something that is broken and replacing it but have much to be desired
when trouble-shooting and fixing.

Your technology could have saved me at least $1,000.

I'm looking for another project Audi, if I do find one I'll probably
register with Ross and get the full blown version.

Ross, If I register for the full blown version, will it come with a
description of all the DTC codes? I noticed the shareware file is
scrambled. I have an order in to purchase the Factory Manuals, but
they are still on back order from Bently.
