I think I can do the software part. Since I'm developing an mp3-player for my car which uses a microcontroller which is programmed in C. I want to addODBII capabilities to my mp3-player so that I can see engine values and stuff on the mp3-player-screen.
But first of all I want to write the routines in C for IBM-PC, because its easier to test them. That's because I know there that the hardware works for sure, since I tested it with VAG-TOOL.
I already started to do some protocol tracing with ComLite.
-->Morgan, It would be cool if you could send me some traces of your A4 1.8T with a description of what you did. It would also be cool íf you could describe what the datachannels http://www.powertv.com/morgan/photos/opendiag/datachannels.html mean.
